These are estimates, not a quote or a loan offer. Down payment figures are the down payment only; closing costs are additional. Monthly figures include principal and interest, estimated Mecklenburg County + City of Charlotte property tax at the current combined rate, estimated homeowners insurance, and mortgage insurance where applicable. Rates in the published table are national averages published the week of August 6, 2026 and are not available to any particular borrower — your actual rate depends on your credit, your lender, and the day you lock. Property tax is estimated on the purchase price at today’s rate; new construction is assessed after completion and Mecklenburg County is on a four-year revaluation cycle, so your actual bill may differ materially. Floor plans, elevations, and room areas are taken from the builder’s plan set (Slate Building Group, “The Bexley”). They are approximate, drawn for illustration, and not to scale as displayed. [07] FAQ

Questions.

What exactly is a duet?

Two attached single-family homes that share one wall, built as one structure but owned completely separately — each with its own lot, its own address and its own deed. It's the same idea as a townhome end unit, except there are only two of them.

You own your home and the land under it outright. Most lenders underwrite it like a single-family home rather than a two-to-four-unit property. Ask your lender to confirm for your specific loan.

Is there an HOA?

No, and there won't be. Each home has its own lot and its own address, so there is nothing for an association to govern and no dues to collect.

Will it appraise?

It already did — $540,000 each, on 6 August 2026 — and we will hand you the appraisal.

When can I move in?

Target completion is spring 2027. Nobody will have lived in it before you.

Can I buy both homes?

Yes, and we're genuinely open to a conversation about it. Tell us in the form below what you have in mind and we'll talk terms.

What happens if construction is delayed?

Your contract will set out exactly how delays are handled, including which causes extend the schedule and what notice we owe you. We won't pretend a construction schedule is a guarantee — but we will put the terms in writing rather than leave them vague.

Is there a warranty?

New-construction purchases in North Carolina typically include a limited warranty, and the specific terms — what's covered, for how long, and who stands behind it — will be spelled out in the contract documents you receive before you sign. We'd rather show you the actual document than summarize it here.
